The Fairmont Kea Lani in Maui, Hawaii – May 2008
May 31, 2008

Everyone has always told me how much they loved visiting Hawaii, especially Maui. I had heard there are a ton of things to do and to see, so in 2008, I decided to cave in and take a trip! The airfare was pretty inexpensive from LAX and I was able to receive a very nice deal from the Fairmont Resort in Wailea, so in May 2008, I packed my bags for Maui for 5 nights!

Hilton Moorea Resort, Moorea, French Polynesia – April 2008
April 30, 2008

Itinerary

6 nights Moorea at the Sheraton Moorea (now Hilton Moorea) Resort

In April 2008, I decided to head back to French Polynesia to an island that I had not yet seen. I only had 6 nights, so I choose Moorea. Since Moorea is the second most popular island with my clients and also one of the easiest to get to from Papeete, I felt this was the best choice. I ended up having an amazing time!

Westin St. Maarten plus Anguilla – June 2007
June 30, 2007

I don’t often get to see my family, so I thought that taking my mom on a vacation would make up for all of those birthday dinners, Christmases, and Thanksgivings I’ve skipped over the years. While I am based in Arizona, my mom lives on the East Coast, so we chose the Caribbean for our big mother-daughter adventure. More specifically, we chose St. Maarten/St. Martin to have a great mix of shopping, beaches, and gorgeous views.

BMW European Delivery Trip – April 2007
April 30, 2007

It’s not very often that one can walk away from purchasing a car saying “that was the best experience ever!” or “Wow, what a great deal!” However, I happened to be an exception to the rule when I chose to pick up my new car through the BMW European Delivery program in April 2007. One does not often lump “good deal” and “BMW” into the same sentence unless separated by “NOT”, but if you are ever in the market for some fine German engineering, please consider taking European Delivery. Not many car companies offer such a wonderful program, where the sticker price for picking it up in Europe is less than what you pay in the US AND the cost difference covers most, if not all of, the price of your trip!

Westin Los Cabos – November 2006
November 30, 2006

I traveled to Los Cabos/Cabo San Lucas in November 2006 for 3 nights. I chose to stay at the Westin Los Cabos and flew on US Airways from Phoenix. Due to the amount of time I had in Los Cabos, I did not venture far from the resort, but still managed to have an excellent time nonetheless. I hope to be returning to Los Cabos again soon, but hopefully not on US Airways (more on that below…)

Le Meridien Cancun – October 2006
October 31, 2006

(Note: Le Meridien is now a Sandos all-inclusive property.)

I recently took a mini-vacation to Cancun, Mexico for 3 nights in October. I flew American Airlines and stayed at the Le Meridien Resort right on the main hotel strip. As this was my first time to Mexico, let alone Cancun, I wasn’t sure what to expect. As you’ll see below, I had a wonderful experience, but I also didn’t wander very far or do any exploring of the local area.

Victoria House, Ambergris Caye, Belize – July 2006
July 12, 2006

I am just about the laziest blogger out there. As I’m typing this, I note today’s date: 6/23/11!!!! So, it’s been almost 5 years to the day that I was in Belize. Rather than wrack my brain trying to remember what happened, I’ll refer you to my colleague, and friend’s, review of our trip. As you’ll notice when reading, she was there with 4 other people- one of those people being ME!!! Before you click the link, enjoy a photograph I took while at Victoria House. Just about perfect, huh?

Renaissance Resort Aruba – June 2006
June 30, 2006

I visited the island of Aruba for a week with some friends for a nice vacation. I exchanged my Starwood Vacation Ownership-Westin timeshare in St. John, USVI, for something a little more lively and entertaining, but of course, relaxing! I chose the Renaissance Ocean Suites in downtown Oranjestad because it is located in the thick of things since my friends wanted to be within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.

Wyndham St. Thomas/ Westin St. John – July 2005
July 31, 2005

We went to the all-inclusive Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa in St. Thomas (now Sugar Bay Resort and not affiliated with Wyndham) and the Westin St. John Resort in mid July 2005. Our main reason for traveling was to attend a friend’s wedding in St Thomas at the Wyndham, but we thought it would be nice to extend it for a few days. (more…)
